Key parameters include linear density (ranging from 5.6 to 4800 tex, with 2400 tex being common for pultrusion and winding applications), filament diameter (typically 3 to 24 micrometers), and tensile strength (which can exceed 2000 MPa depending on the glass type and sizing). Fiberglass yarn is available in various forms—such as roving, twisted yarn, or texturized yarn—and is widely used in pultrusion, filament winding, weaving.
